Today, I would like to make my first review on one of my recent purchase from Sugar Thrillz, bought on Dolls Kill.
These are the Diamonds Dancing Platform Boots by Sugar Thrillz. I usually buy my Sugar Thrillz shoes on a size 6, as they do fit true to size. Some times I may buy Size 5 as a last resource but I know they will fit tight.
So these boots original price is quite high, $175. I was able to obtain these at $157.50 on the website using a 10% discount. Plus all additional fees for shipping to Costa Rica, which is where I currently live.
I must say these are a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y. beautiful...
So the outside fabric is like satin type, and the come with these beautiful pink ribbon type laces. You can tie them into a bow and leave it on the outside or turn it inside of the shoe.
This is kind of what they look in the back. They also have a lavender sole, which gives them that extra feminine touch.
The majority of the heart crystals are seen on the outside of the shoe. These look very delicate and they do sparkle a lot ✨ The zipper is located on the inside side of the shoe.
I originally thought that the crystals on these shoes were actually pink & white because of the pictures on their website, but I was surprised to see that they actually come in different colors such as blue, purple and pink, which is beautiful!
So overall, I must say I am happy with this purchase, these boots are certainly different and a big statement piece.
I felt comfortable when walking on these, they feel really secure even though these are quite tall.
Also, I have to say these boots are quite heavy, I could really feel my feet relaxing when I took these off!
They do not come with any type of additional replacements for the crystals, this is important to consider, because if you loose one, you wont be able to fix that! It will be gone forever, unless you decide to use something similar to replace a missing crystal.
So for that, I have them well stored, in a nice place where I dont have to move them too much, just to avoid accidentally removing any crystals from these boots.
I hope that this review becomes helpful for anyone trying to get their hands on these shoes. These definitely catch a loooot of attention and compliments.
2025 UPDATE: After about 2 years of having them, and, after moving yet again to another country, The day I did not expect had arrived: I had to clean the shoes... After the moving, the got a bit dirty, even though they were in their box, it seems that the climate (humidity) started to affect the material.
I have to say that cleaning them was A NIGHTMARE. Since these shoes are some type of "silk" some stains were not coming off and I decided to use a damp cloth not knowing big yellow stains would appear, and they were getting bigger and bigger for some reason. After 3 days of trying to figure out how to clean them, I was able to manage by using chloride and drying them covered in towels, placing them under the sun. Yes it sounds weird but its the only way I found to make the look "decent" but it definitely affected their appearance. Sadly I had only worn them once since I got them, not sure if I would use them now unless its for taking pictures!
XOXO
